Jimmy Buffett Concert, in Gulf Shores, Alabama and the BP Oil Spill.

Jimmy Buffett played today to massive crowds, in Gulf Shores, Alabama. This is a one day event BUT it helped local tourism, as our beaches are covered in Oil. Our tourism industry has taken a beating, not just here in Alabama but along the whole Gulf Coast because of the seemingly never ending BP Oil Spill (which is spewing and spewing and spewing, as I write). I was happy to see Jimmy Buffett come here and help and hope other artists follow his lead. We need all the economic assistance we can get down here and are grateful for this concert.
