Arizona Congress Woman Gabrielle Giffords, Shot at Political Event.

Democratic Congress Woman Gabrielle Giffords (born June 8th, 1970) was shot today at a Political Event in Arizona. She is the Congressional Representative for the 8th District. There were also at least 13 other people shot and wounded during the attack, 6 of which have died including a Federal Judge and a 9 year old girl named Christina Taylor Green (born on September 11th, 2001). The "alleged" gunman Jared Lee Loughner was captured and is in Police custody. He is described as a white male, age 22 and is a self proclaimed "leftist and liberal".
