Christina Taylor Green, age 9 (born on September 11th, 2001) was killed in the shooting yesterday of Congress Woman Giffords, of Arizona, which left a total of 6 dead and many wounded. Christina was invloved in many school activites and had recently recieved her first Communion at St. Odilia's Catholic Church in Tucson, Arizona. She had recently been elected to her schools student council and was interested in the workings of the Government and decided to attend the event with a family friend.
The "alleged" shooter is Jared Lee Loughner, a white male, age 22. He is being held by authorities in Tucson, Arizona.
Christina was the daughter of John and Roxanna Green and grand daughter of Dallas Green who led the Philadelphia Phillies to the World Series, in 1980. This young woman was born on September 11th, 2001, a day of tradgedy for our nation and died on another. May Christina Taylor Green and all those killed Rest In Peace ! and may all those wounded and injured have a speedy recovery. //// Christina was laid to rest on January 13th, 2011, a damaged September 11th, 2001 Flag was flown at her Funeral Services. There were also thousand's of people who came out to show their respects to this beautiful little girl, slaughtered by a madman. May She Rest In Peace / Que En Paz Descanse !
